About the event
All planetarium shows are 60-minutes. Your planetarium field trip host will start the show with a live, interactive tour of our solar system and galaxy. Your show may also include a fulldome film, with several options available to choose from. The Sac State Planetarium is located on the east side of campus, just north of Parking Structure II and the Hornet Bookstore. This field trip is free, but a parking permit is required.
All cars parking on campus will need to purchase a parking permit – either a two-hour permit ($5) or an all-day permit ($10). Our campus has transitioned to a fully virtual permitting system, virtual permits can be purchased online, by using the “PayByPhone” app (and entering location code 5115), or at a physical pay station (located on level 3 of PSII).
