5TH-6TH GRADE PROGRAM

With an integrated approach to language arts, your child learns how spelling, vocabulary, penmanship, reading, grammar, and composition work together. Arithmetic leads your child from the known to the unknown with studies of fractions, decimals, proportions, and percents, among other topics. A study in United States history from a Christian perspective opens up the world for your child. General science and health education leads students to be good stewards of the life and world God has created. Through daily Bible lessons, your child will see how God can do mighty acts when a person has faith in Him.

Ms. Oliver

Ms. Oliver is excited to bring her passion and love for reading and writing into the classroom. She holds an Associates Degree in Natural Science, is currently working on her California credential, and trained to instruct Abeka.

CLASSROOM

Where children learn and grow

The 5th-6th grade classroom environment is open and spacious. The classroom includes tables and chairs, small classroom library, white board, projector, and more! The classroom can accommodate up to 26 learners.

What we cover

Abeka offers comprehensive, biblically-based curriculum with a traditional, spiral learning approach. Abeka’s original curriculum textbooks are researched and written by veteran educators, then tested in the real world. Every tool, resource, and textbook is based on Christian beliefs. Daily classes include Bible, arithmetic, language, grammar, history, science, and spelling.
