Welcome

With an integrated approach to language arts, your child learns how spelling, vocabulary, penmanship, reading, grammar, and composition work together. Arithmetic leads your child from the known to the unknown with studies of fractions, decimals, proportions, and percents, among other topics. A study in United States history from a Christian perspective opens up the world for your child. General science and health education leads children to be good stewards of the life and world God has created. Through daily Bible lessons, your child will see how God can do mighty acts when a person has faith in Him.

Learning Environment

Our 3rd-5th grade classroom is tucked away behind our sanctuary and includes instructional areas, single desks and chairs, and lots of visual aids! Learners will occasionally use Chromebooks for typing practice and math facts. Our 3rd-5th grade classroom can accommodate up to 25 learners.

What We Cover

Abeka offers comprehensive, biblically-based curriculum with a traditional, spiral learning approach. Abeka’s original curriculum textbooks are researched and written by veteran educators, then tested in the real world. Every tool, resource, and textbook is based on Christian beliefs. Daily classes include Bible, history, arithmetic, language, spelling, and science.

Daily Schedule

We meet at 8:30 am every morning in the sanctuary for the prayer and pledge. From there, we move into our classrooms and work on grade level specific phonics, language, reading, handwriting, and arithmetic lessons. Learners come together for bible, art, history, health, and science class.
