Our Kindergarten program prepares children for the next grade level with a great foundation for success. The phonics program introduces blends and allows your child to read stories including one- and two-vowel words. Improve your child’s hand-eye coordination through learning to write letters, words , and eventually sentences. Enjoy daily Bible lessons about Genesis and the life of Christ. Introduce your child to math with counting and basic arithmetic lessons. This program has everything children need to get ready for first grade.

Classroom Highlights

Learning Environment

The kindergarten class can accommodate up to 20 learners and includes play spaces, instructional tables, circle time rug, and more! Learners navigate the classroom independently and learn manners, processes, and procedures to prepare them for academics. Daily academic lessons are paired with fun activities and exploration.

What We Cover

Abeka offers comprehensive, biblically-based curriculum with a traditional, spiral learning approach. Abeka’s original curriculum textbooks are researched and written by veteran educators, then tested in the real world. Every tool, resource, and textbook is based on Christian beliefs. Daily classes include: language enrichment, skills development, phonics, writing, numbers/arithmetic, Bible, reading, and activity time.

Daily Schedule

We meet at 8:30 am every morning in the sanctuary for the prayer and pledge. From there, we move into our classrooms and work on grade level specific phonics, language, reading, handwriting, and arithmetic lessons. The program also offers bible, art, history, health, and science time.
